Paediatric first aid – FAA Level 3 (2 day)

Paediatric First Aid, 2 day course

This course will teach participants who work with infants or children how to deliver first aid, and fulfils the requirements detailed in the Department for Education’s statutory framework for Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

It covers a range of subjects, including:

  • Electrical incidents
  • Meningitis
  • Fractures
  • Minor injuries
  • Seizures
  • Resuscitation
  • Head, neck and back injuries
  • Extreme heat or cold
  • Diabetic emergencies
  • Foreign bodies
  • Choking
  • Wounds, bleeding or shock,
  • Allergic reactions
  • Recovery position

This is a two-day course and contains both practical and theory elements.

Successful candidates receive a certificate valid for three years
